Savoring Summer

Summer's almost over! But the stores are still jam-packed with summer-related goodies! It's time to write, read and review some stuff that are a must-have for summer, you must buy them now, before they're gone gone away! Then use them the next summer.


1.) Ipanema flip-flops. I've been dying to get one of these flip-flops! Ever! I think I'll get my wish this May, when we visit Manila for new stuff. I especially want this tribal-like ones from Ipanema Gisele Bundchen collection (shown in the picture on the left). I think it's time for a change. Since havaianas weren't really popular, until my mom bought it to Naga, then a lot of people wanted them, I think I want Ipanema to be famous, too! These brazil-made fashion finds are great for going tripping!


2.) Oversized Sunglasses. Some people think Oversized glasses are downright ridiculous, but actually, these glasses complement some people's looks. And some are very good protectors for the eyes! Bigger than the normal, they round the eyes, protecting them from the harmful UV rays of the sun, especially for hot days like these ones! Let's thank the new momma Nicole Richie, for making these old-fashioned finds famous again!

3.) Wooden accessories. From the colorful beaded necklaces, to the hoop earrings, to the tribal pieces and the ever-so-stylish hand-painted bangles. In Summer, these pieces are very popular, and even in every season. But in seasons as hot as these one, a lot of malls and vendors sell these accessories more than in any other season. So chop-chop! Get buying these cool pieces, before they run out of the fab, glam ones! Show your Filipina pride! You have the fashion. Oh yeah. :D


4.) Portable gaming. You saw it. Absolutely right. Whether it would be a Nintendo SP/DS, or the PlayStation Portable, even if you're a girl, you need some game in your system too! Buy these in summer, and try to learn them before school starts again! In boring days, when you got nothing to do, what else? Stop texting and play like a kiddo! You won't be one forever! And it's time to feel like one again.
